Website builder: Blocks
Blocks are pre-designed sections with specific functionalities that you can easily add, edit, and arrange to create your website's content.
The functionality and visual layout of each block type vary. Every block type is fully editable and customizable so you can easily select the one that best suits your purpose and immediately begin making changes.
How to add a block
Click the "Add a block" button and choose the block you want to use from the library.
How to edit a block
Click the "pencil icon".
You can update the image, the title, and more.
You can also edit items added in each block by clicking the specific item, and a pop-up will appear corresponding to the specific item you clicked.
On each block, you'll have the 3-dot icon, which will allow you to rearrange the block, change the block type, and delete the block.
Setting text in a different language
To set text in a different language, use the multi-language field to enter your title, content, images, etc. If the multi-language field isn't visible, temporarily switch your language. To do this, click on your name in the upper right corner and select your desired language. This will enable you to set your text in that language.
Global blocks
Each page you create when building out your custom website has one element in common, regardless of what block types you choose to use: the header and footer content is persistent across all pages.
Any changes you make to these sections will reflect across every page automatically. Because of this, you should be cautious when copying pages, as it will overwrite any existing header/footer configurations with the data being pasted.
Header
The header of your website is the navigation bar found at the very top of every page. The logo in the far left is setup within your account's brand settings.
The rest of the header content consists of a series of buttons/links to other pages. You can find more information about links here. When adding a link button you will see a toggle for 'Primary'. Turning this toggle on will highlight this link, effectively turning it into a call-to-action button. The 'Login' button as seen in the photo above is an example of a link with the Primary toggle turned on.
Footer
Similar to the header, the footer of your website is found at the very bottom of every page and typically includes important information like links to terms & conditions, contact info, and company social media links. This can be easily edited, like other blocks in the website builder.
