The wait list feature in Storeganise helps you capture leads when a unit type isnโt currently available. In the Customer Portal, if a unit type is sold out, users will see a "Notify me" button instead of the usual booking option.
Clicking the button opens a form where users can enter their basic contact information and join the wait list. After submitting the form, theyโll receive a confirmation on screen and by email. The email includes an unsubscribe link in case they want to remove themselves from the list.
In the Management Portal, each unit type has a "Wait list" tab which shows all leads currently on the wait list for that unit type. The date next to the โplusโ icon marks the date the lead signed up to the waitlist. If a lead is no longer interested, click the X icon to remove them from the wait list.
Clicking on a lead in this list will take you to their profile, allowing you to quickly access their contact information and add notes. When the unit type becomes available, all leads on the waitlist will be notified by email automatically. When this happens there will be a bell icon with a date indicating when these emails were sent.
By default this email will include a link that allows the user to immediately navigate to the correct unit type in your Customer Portal to quickly complete the reservation.
If a lead submits a reservation order they will be removed from the waitlist automatically. The other leads will remain on the list and will be notified again the next time the unit type becomes available.
To view and follow up on all leads, go to the โJobsโ list for that site and filter the type to "Lead." This shows a list of all leads across all unit types, making it easier to track and follow up.
The emails for this function are fully customizable and can be found with the other email templates in your main settings.
