Unit type annotations in Storeganise are a flexible way to enhance your customer portal. They let you add visual elements, like promotions or urgency indicators, to specific unit types, helping to catch your customers’ attention.Setting them up is simple. Start by opening your site in the Storeganise Management Portal and navigating to the "Unit Types" section. Select the unit type you want to customize, and in the "Details" tab, scroll down until you see the "Annotations" section. From there, click the plus button to add a new annotation.
You’ll first choose the type of annotation you want. You can select a "Ribbon," which appears fixed in the top-right corner, or "Text," which can be displayed above or below the price.
Next, decide what the annotation will say by filling out the text field—this could advertise a promo code, indicate a limited time price, call-out your most popular unit sizes, or anything else you can think of. This is an easy way to get creative with your pricing and customer portal.
After that, pick a color. You’ll have several options, including your brand color, which matches the settings you’ve defined in the main settings of your account.
Once you’re happy with the details, click "Add Annotation," and it will instantly appear on your customer portal. You can preview it right at the top of the unit type page to make sure you’re satisfied.
Keep in mind that you can add up to five annotations per unit type, but it’s best to use them sparingly. Too many can clutter your page and reduce their impact.
Unit type annotations also pair well with the dynamic and display pricing options, making it even easier to highlight specific units and drive customer action.
