To find your invoicing settings, start by clicking on your name in the upper right corner, then select "Main settings." On the main settings screen, choose the "Invoicing" tab on the left side. The first field you'll see is the "Currency code." This is followed by the "Currency symbol."

Next is the "Billing trigger." The billing trigger controls whether an invoice is emailed or charged automatically when it's generated. If your billing trigger is set to manual, Storeganise will generate invoices in a draft state. This means youโ€™ll need to manually email or charge your invoices.

If your billing trigger is set to automatic, Storeganise will automatically email or charge invoices upon generation. Whether an invoice is emailed or charged will depend on your connection to a payment processor. Next is "Invoice overdue age." This setting determines when an invoice, and the associated unit rental, is considered overdue. Itโ€™s based on the number of days from the invoice period start date.

For example, with the current setting of 30 days, if a monthly rental invoice isnโ€™t paid within 30 days of the invoice period start date, the invoice and unit rental will be marked as overdue. If youโ€™re using an integrated access controller, this overdue age setting also determines when a tenant is automatically locked out. An "Overdue" status will trigger a lockout by default with integrated access controls.
