View the transcript To create new units at an existing facility, first open the site in your Storeganise Management Portal.

Units in Storeganise must be associated with a unit type. If you haven't created the unit type yet, do that first.

Navigate to the Units tab and click on the plus button.

In the window that opens, first, select the associated unit type for the units you will be creating. If you have added pricing and feature information to the unit type, those fields will populate automatically here.

Next, enter the name of the unit.

To create multiple identical units at once, enter the first and last name of the sequence of units, separated by a colon. For example, enter 'A101’, colon, ‘A120’ to automatically create 20 identical units named 'A101', 'A102', and so on, through 'A120'.

Enter the dimensions for the width, length, and height of each unit.

Enter the floor number. If your facility has multiple floors, remember that each floor has its own dedicated site map.

Next, enter the default price and deposit amount for new move-ins. If you do not charge a deposit, enter zero in this field.

Select any related unit features that apply to these units. These are created separately in your main settings.

Once you have filled out all the information, click the Create Units button, and the corresponding units will be added to this site.
