Unit-type features in Storganize allow you to showcase the different attributes and perks of your various unit options to potential customers. Some common examples of unit features include climate control, indoor versus outdoor units, security features, and accessibility options. In the Storganize Management Portal, these features are attached to different unit types by first creating a master list of all unit features at your facility. Each unit feature is then individually assigned to your various unit types.
To create your master list of unit-type features, navigate to your main settings and click on the "Self Storage" tab. In the "Unit Features" section, click the plus button to create a unit feature. Enter a title for your feature and select an icon from the large glossary of icon options. If you donβt want to scroll through the list, use the search bar to filter icons by keywords. For example, to create a unit feature for 24/7 surveillance, enter the title, and in the icon field, type "CCTV" to filter the list for a security camera icon. Similarly, typing "camera" will show several related icons. Get creative with your keyword choices to find the best icons. Once satisfied, click the add button.
Repeat this process for every unit feature you offer. When creating or editing your unit types, you can easily select from this list to attach the appropriate features to each unit type.
