Deleting/archiving a unit

Units in Storeganise can be deleted/archived if they are no longer needed, or if they were imported incorrectly.  Follow the steps below:

1. First, make sure the unit is empty / 'available'

2. Click the 3 dots menu at the top right of the unit page

   

3. Select 'Block move-ins' and enter a reason why you are going to archive the unit, e.g. 'no longer in use'

   

4. This will ensure the unit cannot be reserved for online booking
5. Now the unit can be archived; click the 3 dots menu again and select 'Archive'.  Enter the reason, like you did previously and click OK to confirm.
6. The unit is now archived and won't appear in search results or booking requests.

Please note that archiving units cannot be undone; if you just want to stop a unit from being reserved for a while (e.g. while it is being cleaned) then simply 'Block' the unit as outlined above.
