Google Analytics e-commerce events
We send the following Google Analytics e-commerce events from the customer portal:
- login: sent when a user logs in with a password or Google
- sign_up: sent when a user signs up
- purchase: order summary information sent when a unit is booked (self-storage) or boxes are ordered (valet storage)
- select_item: sent when visiting each page of the order flow
- select_promotion: sent if the user enters a promo code
- add_payment_info: sent when the user adds or updates their payment details
For sending these events, make sure:
- To set up Gtag in your developer settings
- To set up the currency code set in your General settings > Invoicing, this is required for Google Analytics events data
