Waitlist
The Waitlist feature in Storeganise lets you collect customer details as leads when the unit type they’re interested in is unavailable. This helps you generate leads, stay in touch with potential customers, and boost occupancy when space becomes available.
Customer portal
When a unit type is sold out, the Notify me button appears in the Customer Portal.
- Customers click Notify me for the unavailable unit type.
- They enter their name, email address, and phone number.
- A confirmation message appears, and they receive an email confirming their wait list submission.
- The email includes an Unsubscribe link, allowing customers to remove themselves from the waitlist at any time.
Waitlist management
To view and manage your waitlist leads:
- Go to Sites > [Site] > Unit types.
- Select the unit type that has a waitlist.
- Click Waitlist to view all active leads.
From here, you can:
- Click a name to view the customer’s profile.
- Add internal notes to the lead.
- Contact the customer to follow up or cross-sell.
- Click the x icon to remove a lead who is no longer interested.
Notify leads when a unit becomes available
When a unit becomes available (e.g., unoccupied or unblocked manually), Storeganise automatically notifies all customers on the wait list for that unit type.
- Customers receive an email with a direct link to book the unit.
- Once a customer successfully books, they are removed from the waitlist.
- Customers who do not book remain on the list and will be notified again when another unit becomes available.
View all leads across sites
To view all wait list leads in one place:
- Go to Sites > Job list.
- Change the Job type filter to Lead.
This provides a site-wide overview of all wait-listed customers and is useful for follow-ups and cross-selling.
Notes:
- The plus icon indicates when the lead is added
- The bell icon indicates when the leads are notified of the available units
Email templates
Customers receive email notifications when they are added to the waitlist and when a unit becomes available. To customize the email templates, you can go to your Main settings > Emails and select:
- Lead subscribed to waitlist
- Lead notification of available unit
