View the transcript Creating and editing a site map in Storganize is easy. First, navigate to your site in the management portal. If you're setting up a new site, click on 'set up your site map' within the 'complete your site setup' guide. Alternatively, click on the site map tab.

On the Sitemap page, there are two modes: View Mode and Edit Mode. In Edit Mode, you'll see a sidebar on the left with a Units tab and an Objects tab. If you don't see this sidebar, you're in View Mode. To enter Edit Mode, click the Edit button, here.

If your facility has multiple floors, you can switch between them using the toggle at the bottom right of the sitemap editor. Each floor has its own sitemap, displaying only the units listed with that floor number.

The Units tab lists every unit on the selected floor with its name, width, and length. To build your sitemap, click on a unit in the list. It will be added to the sitemap and removed from the list. If a unit's name appears in the list, it hasn't been added to the sitemap yet.

Once added, click and hold to drag the unit to your desired location. You can single click on a unit to select it, which will outline it in red. Then, click and hold on this box to rotate it. The unit will snap at 45 and 90-degree angles. To remove a unit, select it and click the red delete button. Click in the blank space to deselect a unit.

Continue setting up your sitemap by adding units and moving them to the desired locations. Use the zoom buttons in the bottom right corner to adjust your view, and click and drag in the blank space to move the overall view.

In the Objects tab, you can add miscellaneous features to your sitemap. Unlike units, these objects can be resized. For example, add a wall object and click and drag to place it. Select the object, then Use the transform tools to edit its dimensions and rotate it as needed.

Remember to click the Save button frequently while editing your sitemap so you don’t lose any changes
