Valet promotions (promo codes) settings
In the Main settings, click on the Promotions tab. Under the Valet promotions section, click on the + icon to setup a new promo code.
Code / ID
The promo code your customers will have to enter when creating an order. Promo codes are not case-sensitive.
Title
What will appear in the invoice to describe the charge. If you have a dual language setup, you can set the respective name in the alternate language too.
Validity
Use the Valid from and Valid to dates to limit the validity.
Note: Valet promo codes only provide a numerical amount of credit. Percentage discounts or a number of free months are not supported.
How valet promotions work
Using a promo code
When a customer creates a new order, they will be presented with a section to enter either a promo code or referral code. If the promo code is entered correctly and is valid, it will be added to the order. In the case that it doesn't match with what is set, the customer will be alerted it is an invalid code and the order will not go through until this is updated or removed.
Promo code credit
The promo code will be added to a user's account under the credit section once the collection job is completed (i.e. the items are in storage). Credit can be viewed in a User's details page under the Credit tab.
