How to create and edit the Sitemap

Contents

Setting site measurement

Before you start designing your site layout, it's crucial to set the correct site measurement units. Click on the 'Advance settings' tab on your site page and navigate to 'Measurement' Choose between meters or feet based on your preference. This ensures that all measurements within the Sitemap editor align accurately with your chosen unit of measurement.

Confirm unit dimensions and location

Each unit's dimensions play a significant role in your site layout. Head over to the 'Units' tab and select the specific unit you want to work with. Verify its width, length, and height, ensuring they match your site's measurement system. You can also set up the sitemap according to which floor the unit is located. This step guarantees that your layout accurately reflects the physical attributes of each unit.

Unit Placement

Access the 'Sitemap' tab and click the pencil icon on the top right corner, Choose the unit you wish to place, click, and drag it on the map. You can drag and drop the unit as needed to adjust its position. Make sure that you don't place it too far from the center point (where the unit first pops up when you select it)

If you set up different floors, you can manage it here:

Orientation adjustment

You may also rotate units to fit your desired layout. Select the unit you'd like to rotate, and use the 'Rotate' button to adjust its orientation.

Center button

In cases where you zoom in, zoom out, or navigate around the sitemap and would like to go back to the center point, you can click on the center button.

Adding other objects

The sitemap editor offers versatility beyond units. You can enhance your site layout by adding objects such as doors, walls, toilets, and more. To add objects, click ‘objects’ and choose the object you'd like to incorporate.
