Error alert: Order appears to be a duplicate

Overview

If you are in the process of scheduling move-ins for a single customer into two identical unit types on the same move-in day, you may come across the following error:

This order appears to be a duplicate of an existing move-in job


Workaround

To bypass this error, follow the steps below.

  1. When attempting to schedule the second move-in, simply change the Move-in date one day ahead, then click Schedule move-in. This will create the move-in job.

  1. After clicking Schedule move-in, the system will display the order summary for this job. Click the pencil icon for the Move-in date line.

  1. Simply change the date here to your original intended move-in date, then click Update.

  1. You will now have 2 move-ins for 1 unit type successfully scheduled on the same day for 1 customer. If additional units need to be scheduled for the same day, simply repeat the steps above.

Explanation

This error code prevents customers from accidentally booking 2 identical units.
