BearBox access control integration

Site configuration

Contact BearBox to get API access, they will send you the following data which is used to set up your site's custom fields as follows.  If in doubt contact us and we can help set up this part of the system.

bearbox_username

bearbox_password

bearbox_siteId

bearbox_zone

• The default zone to use for all units
• Can be overridden by setting the same custom field on the unit or unit rental
• It should be a valid zone ID from https://storage.bearbox.co.uk/secure/zones/zones.cfm, otherwise, the synchronisation will fail

securitySystem

• Must be set to Bearbox

Units configuration

Set up and fill in these custom fields for storage units:

bearbox_id

• This is required for every unit you want to synchronise with BearBox
• The value must match the unit name in Bearbox; usually, this is the same as the unit name in Storeganise
• Make sure this unit name exists in your BearBox dashboard: https://storage.bearbox.co.uk/secure/sites/status.cfm, otherwise the synchronisation will fail

bearbox_zone

• Only required if you want to override the 'default' bearbox_zone as defined on the Site
• It should be a valid zone ID from https://storage.bearbox.co.uk/secure/zones/zones.cfm, otherwise, the synchronisation will fail

Rental fields

Set up these custom fields for Unit Rentals:

bearbox_pinCode

• This field will be automatically set by the system after a move-in

bearbox_overlocked

• BearBox overlocked is automatically set true when a unit rental becomes overdue in payments, and false immediately after a payment unsets its overdue status

bearbox_zone

• Only required if you want to override the 'default' bearbox_zone as defined on the Site and the Unit
• It should be a valid zone ID from https://storage.bearbox.co.uk/secure/zones/zones.cfm, otherwise, the synchronisation will fail
