Overview
Once you have been setup with your Storeganise instance, you will receive an email with the login details to your respective Management Portal and the Units and/or Valet Customer Portal. The checklist below outlines some of the main points to go through as part of the initial setup. Other points not listed below will be outlined in the email you receive from us.
Contact us by email (hello@storeganise.com) if you need any changes or updates made.
Review settings
Go through the settings panel in your instance to make sure that the area list, item list, plan details, market settings, etc all match up with your initial requests. You can update most settings directly or reach out to us if you need help with anything.
The Settings help docs explain how everything works.
Integrate Storeganise with your website
Read our help doc on Integrating Storeganise with your website for more information.
Setup your Customer Portal subdomain CNAME record
You will need to define a sub-domain location on your main domain where customers will go to log into the Customer Portal / create orders. This needs to be in the format of subdomain.domain.com
(it cannot be domain.com/subdomain
).
You will need to setup a CNAME record on your domain's DNS settings (more details will be included in your setup email from us).
For example, if you want to use the subdomain user.storageco.com
and your Storeganise Customer Portal is currently at storageco.storeganise.com
, then you will setup a CNAME record where the host
is user
and it points to storageco.storeganise.com
.
Verify the CNAME is setup
You can verify if the CNAME has been setup correctly by using this CNAME lookup tool.
Note: Once you have completed the setup, please email us to let us know which subdomain you setup as we need to complete a step on our end before it becomes active.

Setup your marketing website CNAME record
If you have opted to use Storeganise for your marketing website, you'll need to setup a CNAME record for the website too. More information will be sent by email but below is a quick overview / example of how this should be setup.
If your Management Portal is at storageco.storeganise.com
then your business 'code' is storageco
, and you will will need to setup a CNAME record where the host
is www
and it points to storageco-www.storeganise.com
.
You'll then want to setup a redirect for your domain, so that users going to https://yourwebsite.com get redirected automatically to https://www.yourwebsite.com. How this is done depends on your DNS provider (where you domain is registered) so please see the documentation from your provider.

Note: Once you have completed the setup, please email us to let us know which subdomain you setup as we need to complete a step on our end before it becomes active.
