Overview

To reset a password, users must do use one of the Customer Portals, even if they are Operations Portal users. Operations Portal users must have the correct Admin role set on their account to login to the Operations Portal.


The Units Customer Portal

If you or one of your customers forgot their password, this can be reset by following the Forgot password link shown on the Login page of the Units Customer Portal.

You can also send your customers directly to the forgot password URL using this format: {CustomerAppURL}/forgot-password (e.g. units.spaceup.me/forgot-password)

Once the user enters their registered email address and clicks Reset password, they will receive a Reset password email with a unique link to click on to reset the password. The URL has a validity of only 1 hour after which it will no longer work and a new reset password request must be made.

The Valet Customer Portal

If you or one of your customers forgot their password, this can be reset by following the Forgot password link shown on the Login page of the Valet Customer Portal.
